About Mafimo

We watched families struggle with platforms that were not built for them: fake profiles, no proper way to involve parents or siblings, and conversations that never left the app. So we built something different, where the family is part of the search from the first day and the person getting married stays part of every decision.

Mafimo is for families of every community and faith, in India and abroad, including people looking for a second marriage. Anyone aged 21 or over can join.

• check_circle One account can manage profiles for yourself, your son or daughter, a sibling or another relative, and you can invite family members to review and shortlist together.
• check_circle You can build a profile by pasting or uploading an existing biodata; with your permission, AI reads it and fills in the form for you to check.
• check_circle Profiles can be shared with relatives through a link, even if they have not signed up.
• check_circle Kundali compatibility is available for families who want it, and optional for everyone else.
• check_circle There is no messaging inside Mafimo. When two people have both completed Aadhaar verification, their contact details become visible and they talk directly by phone, WhatsApp or email.

A verified badge means the person completed Aadhaar offline verification, which confirms their identity using data signed by UIDAI. We never store the full Aadhaar number, and verification is what unlocks contact details between two verified people.

There is no premium plan and no fee to see a contact. The mobile app shows advertisements, which is how we pay for running the service. Your religion, caste, health details and other profile information are never shared with advertisers, and we do not sell your personal data.
